Recently a large state government organisation was having Spam and Virus issues. Shearwater working with the organisation installed an Ironport solution comprising of Ironport Antispam, Sophos Antivirus and Virus outbreak filter (VOF). The results exceeded expectation with 80% of all messages stopped by Ironport’s reputation filters and a further 15% detected as SPAM or Viruses. With approximately 26 Million messages a month being processed by Ironport appliances this amounts to a significant savings for the organisation.
